Christmas Eve for you and me

Reader,
What do you usually do on Christmas Eve?
Fun fact, some Christians in JABODETABEK go to a charismatic church at 10 pm to perform the extravagant worship on the night before Christmas with a crowd of believers who sing through the night. While some Christians in Singapore, they gather at a Chinese restaurant, sit around a fancy dinner table with their big family. For some Christians around the world, staying at home and having a big-batch dinner is always a custom. Beside the alluring glistening ornaments like in Tsim Sha Tsui Christmas light in Hongkong, all Christians enjoy the vibe of Christmas celebration, that is togetherness.

As for me, while my husband works in Singapore almost most of Christmas days, I make it a habit to write a song on Christmas Eve. Last night, I wrote this song after dinner with my son. A collection of words and tunes from my heart. Things that I can remember in the future. These songs I wrote will work like a time machine in the future.

I pray that everyone enjoys togetherness with a grateful heart, either in a large crowd or just you and me with a song, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you 🌲

The colors of the earth

The color of my heart is red

The colors of the earth are like garments

The colors of the flowers are like rainbow'

The colors of fire are like the heart's

Red, yellow and blue

You don't have to prove

God gave them their hues

Red yellow and blue

There is nothing new

God gave them their hues

Remember the stories and pass them on to generations

Remember the stories and pass them on to generations.

'Oat' and 'Out'

"Son, if the oats finish, we may need to go out!" Said a young mother to her little boy. How do you perceive this line, a sad line? Supposing it is a sad line, yes, they need to go out! Even if it is a happy line, they still need to go out. "Mom, let's go out and pick strawberries instead! The boy responded cheerfully. I learned something from children way of thinking, that we can count on their big picture thinking in hard times or dilemma. Photo source: Unsplash (Photographer: No-Revisions)
